Who are we?

Azulejos Solá was founded in 1957, in Valencia.

In these years we have been evolving, adapting to market changes.
Many years have passed, and both the company and Azulejos Solá hardly resemble how they were in the 1960s.
During the first two decades, the main activity of the company was construction.
The cities in which we had the most presence were Seville, Valencia and Barcelona.
If you are from Valencia, you will know the Expo Hotel, next to the Nuevo Centro shopping center.
In Barcelona, ​​for example, we collaborate with our materials and labor in the construction of the Poblenou neighborhood.
Already in the 1980s and 1990s, most of the renovation shops that we know today began to appear... and although we, in the first decades of our activity, already sold retail in a small ground floor in the center of Valencia , is now when our main activity is focused on selling to the public.

In these years we have been introducing new categories of products to complete our store, of about 2,000m2. Becoming a reference store to see ideas for a complete reform of the home.
At first we only sold tiles, but now, although our name may continue to mislead (Azulejos Solá), we sell and install all the necessary materials for a comprehensive reform.
In fact, one of our strengths is the design and installation of kitchen furniture, with Scavolini, the leading Italian brand in the sector.
...And in recent years, what developments have we had?
Mainly, the creation of the ecommerce, translated into 10 languages ​​and with daily shipments throughout Europe.
We were among the first to sell tiles online. Still today, there are large companies that do not sell tiles on their websites.
Before starting we had doubts... that if this product has to be seen, that if the transport is complicated, they are fragile, heavy products...
A few days before starting the online tile store, discussing my doubts with a friend, he told me:
"What's wrong, you just have to sell it and ship it."
And it's true. If you sell tiles online, you can sell anything.
Why did we start with ecommerce?
It would be good to say that it was to help more clients, other people who were not from Valencia.
But the truth is that we saw a business opportunity.
There were customers who came from other cities to buy tiles because it was cheaper than in their cities.
And if this happened in Spain, imagine in other countries.
Sometimes they ask us what security we give that we are going to send them the material (there are still people who mistrust buying online, it is normal).
The truth is that none, but many at the same time...

That risk is in any online operation, in which you have to send the money before receiving the product.
However, we are the same staff that works in the store, some from the Solá family and others from us, but all standing up for a company with more than 65 years of history.
We did not start this project with another name, but we kept our brand.
Knowing the validated experience of other customers is today one of the most reliable signals to buy online.

In short, although there are always mistakes and people upset with their experience, we work in all departments to help people and make them happy with us...
...This sounds very nice, and it would be even better if we say that we do it only for the well-being of others.
But no... rather we do it out of selfishness.
The people who work at Azulejos Solá want to live in peace, and go home after work with few worries. Or none, if possible.
We do not have a switchboard in another country that manages incidents, or automatic messages or lawyers that filter our problems. Therefore, the better we do things, the better for everyone.
What pushes us to continue with our activity every day?
Azulejos Solá is a family business. This, with the drawbacks it may have, has two very positive foundations.
On the one hand, to continue with the idea of ​​who founded it, following in his footsteps and his philosophy. It could be said that it is "honoring" a close person who dedicated his effort so that we are here today.
On the other hand, because the benefit that the company has also the family. And this is a great reason to improve, grow and overcome any adversity.

Today our activity is based on 3 pillars:
- The physical store with approximately 2,000m2 of exhibition space with a wide variety of products for comprehensive home renovation, represented in environments.
- Kitchen projects. We are specialists in carrying out the integral reform of the kitchen. From advice, design and measurement, to comprehensive installation.
We work exclusively in the Valencian Community with Scavolini, the leading Italian kitchen furniture brand in the market.
- Ecommerce. Despite the complexity of the products we ship, due to their weight and volume, this section has not stopped growing since 2018, when we only delivered to Spain.
We now ship daily to European countries.
