This type of tile is known by the name of Manises since its origins lie there. Manises is a Valencian town with a great ceramic tradition in which this style of tiles was traditionally made for decades.

Far from the way in which ceramics are manufactured today, Manises tiles were produced piece by piece in a meticulous way and taking care of even the smallest detail. For this reason the price of these models is per piece, and this is the way in which they have to be purchased.

Manises tiles are characterized by their drawings and colors, usually blue, white and yellow. Like the Valencian tiles or the Sevillian tiles, this type of ceramic is usually used to cover walls in interior patios or to make some decorative detail on exterior facades.
