What color will the pool water look with each tile?

Nov. 7, 2021

Have you ever wondered why the pool water is always blue? Would you like to personalize your pool by changing the color of the water? We explain the reasons and how the color of the tile influences the pool water.

The color of the pool water is conditioned by several factors, in most of them we will have little influence on it.

The reason why we always see water in shades of blue is because water absorbs long-length solar rays more easily (shades of red, yellow and oranges). While those of short length (blue tones) bounce and catch our eyes

The depth of the pool is an important factor. The deeper a pool is, the darker the color of the water will be. While if the depth is less than 50cm, the water will be completely transparent.

On the other hand, the environmentof the pool also influences its color. If there is nothing around it to cover it and direct light enters it, the color will be lighter than if it is surrounded by buildings or vegetation. If, for example, the pool is in a natural environment covered with vegetation, the color of the water will be more greenish.

Other factors also influence the color of the water: whether it is an indoor or outdoor pool; the hour of the day; the light of the country or city in which it is located; if it has internal lighting or not, etc.

Fortunately, and like everything in life, there is a part that is not in our hands but another that we can influence. In this case we can condition the color of the pool water with the choice of tile. If you want to know the effect you will get with each model before buying the tile, we will give you all the advice below.

What color will the pool water look with each tile?
WHITE Sky Blue

With the white tile you will achieve the greatest light in your pool, allowing the sky to reflect directly on the water.

Refreshing LIGHT BLUE
Perhaps it is the most used color for swimming pools. We will achieve this effect with the pool blue and pool mist models.
INTENSE BLUE Relaxing

If you want the color of the sea in your pool, we recommend the blue mist, strong mist or cobalt blue tile

GREEN Lagoon effect

If you want to get out of the ordinary while maintaining a natural look, we recommend the mint fog tile. You will find in our catalog other models with a more intense green tone.

GRAY Ocean color

With this tone you will obtain an elegant design without losing the purity and neutrality that characterize swimming pools.

BLACK Mirror effect

Personality and elegance!

You must have a daring character to decide on this spectacular finish that we will achieve with the Tokyo and black fog tiles.

BROWN beach effect

We will use the warm tones to convey the feeling of the sand from the beach to our pool.
